Backpacking the world was my passion, but when my husband Andrew and I decided to have kids, everyone told us that was the end of our traveling days.  But, my travels had shaped me into the person that I am, and I wanted those same experiences for my kids.  So, we booked our first trip and have never looked back.  Over the last four years, we’ve learned SO much about independent international travel as a family and we hope you find something that can help or inspire you!  My husband Andrew and I are normal people with regular jobs, and we are proof that it is possible, and even fun, to travel the world even with work, budgets, and yes, KIDS!
